Today, we’d like to introduce you to Shay Jackson.
Hi Shay, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was working at a call center. I quit my job and started working with my sister at a company Angel Maids. I got a call to clean Bonnie Johnson’s home. While there, I noticed she had chakra posters and energy systems hanging on her walls. I asked her what she did because I had been studying chakras. After talking, Bonnie paid my way through Healing Beyond Borders and Massage therapy school.
During my mentorship/apprenticeship with Bonnie, I needed to do a community project. I reached out to Thea Smith a Reiki Master and Herbalist and every Sunday we hosted a community gathering Soulful Sunday. I became a Certified Healing Touch Instructor, and Reiki Master, and went through yoga teacher training.
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has been a smooth road, but of course, there have been struggles along the way.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I own Heal N Center. It is a healing center that specializes in balancing your mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. We offer services such as yoga, meditation, oracle readings, energy healing sessions, and more! I’m known for being the Chakra Lady.
I’m a certified Healing Touch Practitioner, Reiki master, Yoga and Meditation instructor, and for hosting community gatherings. I’m most proud of the lecture I did with Vanderbilt bringing chakra awareness to the students. I also offer Shay Butta and a Chakra clothing line.
