Jasmine Sargent shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Good morning Jasmine, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think is misunderstood about your business?
The biggest misconception is that Revitalize Touch is a “spa massage.” I’m a recovery therapist. My work sits at the intersection of sports therapy, pain management, and performance care—not luxury pampering. A session with me is goal-driven: we start with assessment, then use targeted manual therapy , targeted cryotherapy and tools like cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue work (Graston-style), TENS/EMS, and Normatec compression, followed by mobility and homework so the results last.
Another misconception is that “deep tissue” has to hurt to work. It doesn’t. I use precise pressure and nervous-system-aware techniques to create change without beating your body up. More pressure isn’t better—better is better.
People also assume I only work with athletes or people in pain. I’m proud to support athletes, but my room is full of teachers, first responders, parents, desk workers, lifters, and weekend hoopers. If you move—or want to move without pain—you’re my client. Recovery isn’t exclusive; it’s essential.
There’s the “one-and-done” myth, too. Pain is often a pattern, and patterns change with a plan. My approach pairs hands-on work with simple, realistic exercises and behavior tweaks you can actually stick to. Think: fewer flare-ups, better sleep, and easier daily movement, not just 24 hours of relief.
Finally, pricing can be misunderstood. You’re not paying for 60 or 90 minutes—you’re investing in expertise, clinical tools, thoughtful prep, and a clear path forward. I’m transparent about recommendations because I want every session to feel worth it to you and sustainable for your body.
At Revitalize Touch, my mission is simple: help you move freely again. I don’t want you getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just want to pick up your kids without back pain, I meet you where you are, collaborate when needed with doctors, PTs, and chiropractors, and tailor a plan that makes recovery part of your lifestyle—not an occasional treat.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Jasmine Sargent, a licensed massage therapist and recovery specialist, and the founder of Revitalize Touch in Atlanta, GA. My background blends sports massage, injury recovery, and pain management, and I’ve been fortunate to work with professional athletes, weekend warriors, and everyday people since 2015.
What makes my work unique is my whole-picture approach. I don’t just treat symptoms—I assess, address, and help prevent them from coming back. I collaborate with chiropractors, physical therapists, and doctors to make sure my clients get the most well-rounded care possible. My mission is simple: to help people move freely again and not get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Right now, I’m expanding my services to partner with athletic programs, corporate wellness initiatives, and professional sports organizations. Whether it’s helping an NFL player recover faster or enabling a desk worker to get through the day pain-free, my focus is always the same—helping people feel and perform at their best. I am also working on a recovery tea.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What did you believe about yourself as a child that you no longer believe?
That I will never be enough which was a lie that came from not being accepted all the time.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
A time I almost gave up on everything was during COVID, when I lost everything I had worked for. Business slowed to a halt, my income disappeared, and it felt like everything I’d built was crumbling. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life, but looking back, it was also the most transformative. It forced me to rebuild from the ground up, rethink my approach, and discover a deeper level of grit and determination I didn’t know I had. That period shaped me into the person and business owner I am today—resilient, resourceful, and committed to never letting temporary setbacks define my future.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
They would say stability matters most to me.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you retired tomorrow, what would your customers miss most?
If I retired tomorrow they would probably miss the service I offer and how passionate , caring I am when it comes to taking care of them.
