Today we’d like to introduce you to Ajani Huff.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always been inspired by Michael Jackson so I always danced. Almost three years ago, I posted my first video in a school bathroom and it gained traction so I kept going. Coming to Atlanta and watching my sister excel motivated me to go to La for vitcon and I haven’t looked back.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Obstacles have been part of my journey like anyone’s, but my family raised me to push through and never settle. Couch surfing is not easy when you leave home to achieve a goal. My family is everything to me and they support me a million percent. So I don’t look at the obstacles as all bad, just tests along the journey.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a dancer first my fans would say. I love to dance and always will. Comedy and the big screen are a major motivation for myself. Dancing has afforded me the opportunity to be on the Ellen show and so much more. A big screen is definitely next on the list. I’m most proud of my family. They have supported me along my journey. Positivity is the main characteristic I have been told. I look for the good in people and situations. Always positive.
The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
Anything can and will happen. Very weird time having to wear masks and distance. We must overcome together though. That’s my lesson. The human race must work together.
