Thanks for sharing your story with us Autumn. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started doing nails 3 years ago after attending Florida A & M University. I was unable to find a job when I returned home from college, being that I was already interested in the cosmetology field I thought to try something different. That’s when doing nails became an option. When I told my friends and family my plan, they all laughed and thought I was playing because I am the girl who gets “catered” to and not the other way around. From there, I proved them wrong, I attended Boca Beauty Academy in Boca Raton, FL and started on the adventure that would soon slowly take over my life and became my passion. After the first year of doing nails back home in Miami, I thought to take my talents to Atlanta because I had bigger dreams and goals to accomplish. Since I moved to Atlanta there has been nothing but blessings coming my way, I began meeting new people, growing my clientele drastically, and became a celebrity nail tech to some of the hottest people in the game.
Has it been a smooth road?
I think being in such a competitive industry, there isn’t anything smooth lol. This journey hasn’t been easy at all. There have been so many bumps in the road that I had to get over to become who I am and to get me where I am now. Some of the struggles I have to overcome was building my brand and bringing in new faces that were consistent along with finding the right environment to work in. My advice to women and young women, when starting your journey DO NOT GIVE UP! This is your calling, keep pushing and put some grind behind your prayer and your dream, goals and business will be everything you make it be.

Well if you all haven’t known just from the name, I am NAIL.SNOB! One of the hottest Nail Artist in Atlanta, GA. I am known for my outrageous, unique and of course, Snobb’d out nails. What makes me different from other nail techs is my nail shaping and nail art bling. I am THE SHAPING & BLING Guru! What I am most proud of is my consistency and creativity with my brand, which allows my new and old clients to trust me every step of the way when getting serviced.
Often it feels as if the media, by and large, is only focused on the obstacles faced by women, but we feel it’s important to also look for the opportunities. In your view, are there opportunities that you see that women are particularly well positioned for?
I believe that women can accomplish anything handed to them, there isn’t so much just a certain position for a woman at all. If you give the woman the right shoe, she can conquer anything!
