Today we’d like to introduce you to Diamond P. She and her team share her story with us below.
Born and raised in the slums of the A.T.L Westside Bankhead to be exact, Diamond P began doing things in the music industry at the age of 12. Diamond P has worked with numerous artists including her brother Big Duke of the legendary group Boyz N Da Hood. Diamond P is also the niece of Black Mafia Family Big Meech. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This has definitely not been a smooth road for me, I recently lost my son to gun violence and I haven’t had the opportunity for any grieving because I’m a mother that has to keep going for the rest of my immediate family.
My advice for women who are starting their journey is to stay focused, positive and always keep God 1st. “ Succeed to Exceed”
What else should we know about you and your career so far?
I am a mother, artist, author, radio personality, TV host, actress, brand ambassador, 2019 brand ambassador for the American Black Film Festival, 4x College graduate, philanthropist, industry mogul, a beautiful strong black woman kicking down doors in a male dominant industry. I specialize in ANYTHING that I put my hands on and EVERYTHING that I set out to do. What I’m most proud of as a brand is all the accomplishments that I made; my name definitely holds weight. What sets me apart from others is that you can’t sell dreams to a leader that walks through nightmares. I set the trends and watch my naysayers/nonbelievers try to duplicate them.
Who have you been inspired by?
Tami Roman reason being is because she keeps it real and no matter what is thrown her way; she keeps going and never gives up.
