Life and Work with Inez Powell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Inez Powell.

Inez, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I always had an interest in alternative healing. It started in college after my first yoga class. I’ve studied other modalities over the years like Reiki and Tantra. Everything that I’ve learned helped me grow as a person.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Life has definitely had its challenges. One thing that I’ve noticed with energy work is that the deeper I dive in, the more I uncover about myself. It’s an ongoing messy process. There’s so much unlearning that I’ve done and continue to do. Every day, I discover something new about myself. It can feel very intimidating because being vulnerable and connecting with our feelings isn’t encouraged. When I feel discouraged, I spend time outside, reconnect with my yoga practice and take things easy.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Blissful Yoga & Massage, LLC. – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
My focus is helping men who want more intimacy reconnect with their partners to develop a deeper connection. The program I created combines all the tools and learning I’ve gained over the years. I love the work that because I see the transformation that my clients go through from being distant to emotionally and physically connected. There are plenty of relationship coaches out there. I’m invested in my client’s personal growth on every level.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
One of my favorite podcasts is Sisters of Sexuality. Every week they discuss a different topic. I’m a huge fan of all the work the ladies have done. I enjoy things that positive and uplifting so I listen to Abraham Hicks a lot and follow a blog called Secrets of Manifesting. I stay active in online communities that are dedicated to personal growth like Progressive Love Academy by Jujumama and Mindvalley.
