Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Drury.
Jenna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Becoming a blogger has been something I wanted to do for years. In 2016, I launched a fitness blog. Long story short, my dad got unexpectedly ill and I completely let it go. I had zero success with it. Years later, after a lot of soul searching, I mustered up the courage to blog again. It’s something that I truly love. In 2018, I launched The Blonde Blogger, a fashion and lifestyle blog. My goal is to connect with women and build relationships while encouraging each and every one of you to work hard to achieve whatever goals you may have for yourself.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Has it been a smooth road? It’s been anything but that. But I wouldn’t change it for anything. I have learned so much on this journey and I’m working hard towards growing my blog every single day. You just have to take the good with bad and see every experience as a way to learn and grow. If I could give anyone any piece of advice, it’s to not give up. It can be frustrating and trying, but giving up won’t get you closer to that goal. Follow your dreams and don’t take no for an answer. If at first, you don’t succeed, look at what you can do differently and try again.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am proud of the brand that I am currently growing. The Blonde Blogger is a platform to encourage women to be their best selves and hustle hard. Not only do I share my love for fashion and fitness, but I also thrive on being an encouragement to others. None of us are perfect and I think we all need a few words of encouragement every now and then. I try to be that for my readers and inspire them to not settle. Step things up a notch and reach for the starts.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Figure out what your goal is, form a plan, and work freaking hard.
