Leslie Andrews is an Atlanta-based fashion photographer whose made a name herself in the highly competitive world of beauty and fashion photography. She specializes in editorial, commercial, fashion/beauty, and product photography. In 2004, Leslie left the corporate world and went back to school to pursue her love for photography. In 2006, she graduated with a degree photographic imaging and began working full-time as a fashion photographer. After a few short years, she honed her craft and garnered the attention and respect of clients and creative directors alike. Her style is sleek and clean with an edge. Leslie loves collaborative synergy, working with a fantastic team of make up, hair stylists, and fashion designers to create compelling photographs. When she’s not shooting, Leslie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and doing volunteer work, she is committed to giving back to the community and loves working with children and teens.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My journey with photography hasn’t always been a smooth one, I have my share of struggles along the way. One of the setbacks I had with my photography was relocating from California back to Atlanta, GA. I had to totally rebuild my clientele and rebrand myself. Its never easy starting over, and I was discouraged at times, but I knew that photography was my love so I never gave up. My advice to other women starting photography or any business would be to never give up. When you find a career that you are passionate about, give it your all and surround yourself with people who believe in your vision.

I specialize in fashion and portrait photography. I’ve inspired femininity, vintage vibes, and classic. I would describe my work is clean, vibrant, and nostalgic. I’m most proud of my work with diverse women, highlighting their beauty and bringing awareness to the beauty of all women not just what society tells us is beautiful.
Who have you been inspired by?
I find inspiration in everything I see around me, my children, art, music and the beauty I see around me when I travel to different places around the world.
