Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Facey and Kadedra Huckaby.
Maria and Kadedra, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We are two friends who are living a truly KAIOTIC life, while looking for a way to continuously feel beautiful while doing so. We quickly realized we weren’t the only ones in this situation and Kaiotic Hair Kollection was born! It’s a venture set out to help the modern-day woman feel beautiful and sexy one bundle, wig, and pair of lashes at a time!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The ride on the road of entrepreneurship has definitely not been a smooth one. The struggles have been numerous and intense. Ranging from financial obstacles to marketing difficulties; all while trying to get our brand the exposure it needs to thrive.
Kaiotic Hair Kollection – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We help enhance the lives of women all over the globe by providing luxury beauty products at reasonable prices. We offer mink lashes, top quality extensions and clip-ins as well as full lace wigs. We are extremely proud to offer women products that we enjoy ourselves! What sets us apart from other hair brands is we genuinely care about the confidence level of each woman in her day to day life. We ! also offer personalized styling assistance and guidance when needed.
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
The best advice we can share with other entrepreneurs is to devise your strategy, determine your short and long term goals before the struggles and emotions kick in and stick to them! One thing we agreed upon was regardless of what struggles came our way we would not give up. Besides, the challenges are just a part of the process!
Also never feel that you have reached a place where you can stop striving to learn more and keep yourself motivated. A few of our favorite motivators are The movie “The Secret”, the book “The 4-Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss, and the Impact Theory Podcast with Tom Bilyeu. Find something that motivates you, regardless of the format, and study from it often!
