Life & Work with AJ Young

Today we’d like to introduce you to AJ Young.

AJ Young

Hi AJ, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
One thing you can do to fail: Is not to try!

I had started by working jobs that I just wanted to make due with! Some jobs got me closer to my goal and some kept me at a standstill! But I learned and practiced ways to try EVERYTHING out that I wanted to try! The things I was gifted one as in talents and knowledge that some don’t have! I started to push myself to find ways that will uplift me in all my ways of life! So first step I did was: Breath and Just Do It (stop waiting to say I’m going to do it and aim towards that goal)

Keep Pushing!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing is smooth! Illusions are more smoother than reality! I try to keep my mind open to all possibilities but keep my faith and my humbleness up! When the struggles happen, I just keep it as a lesson and always aim to end it with solutions that’s beneficial for all!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a proud Androgynous Black Woman Who’s an actress, creative director, model, scriptwriter, influencer, musician, and more! I’m very passionate about exploring myself, So I’m guessing, with all the events and activities, people have started to notice me.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I’ve traveled through multiple countries with my church and family. Growing to learn the privilege I had growing up to see the privilege other kids had or didn’t have! It taught me to be humble and never change that mindset in my life.
