Today we’d like to introduce you to Akecia Cunningham and Danielle Moore.
Hi Akecia and Danielle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Agents D&A officially partnered in 2021 under the brokerage of Brenda Lee Strickland Realty. Agents D&A started from a desire to build a collaborative partnership that creates an opportunity to provide a personalized experience for our clients.
Danielle:
I love people and anything surrounding homeownership/property! So truly, combining both was a win for me! Nothing brings me more joy than the ability to show a property or help someone become a homeowner or simply sell their home. By day, I am a coordinator for a large school district here in GA. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from Argosy University, and an Education Specialists degree in Administrator Leadership with a focus on Teaching & Learning from Walden University. Every training that I have received has created building blocks for my real estate journey and has served as a foundation for me as a realtor and as a partner agent.
Akecia:
I’ve always been interested in real estate. When I was younger, I would always look at pictures of homes and think about how amazing it would be if me and anyone I knew could own homes like the ones I would see in magazines and on television. As I began to get older, I started to think about ways I could help people build generational wealth. I began to align my passion with my purpose and decided that being a real estate agent would create an avenue for me to help others discover investments in which future generations could benefit. Although I received my formal training at Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, Troy State University with a Masters in Education, Counseling and Psychology, and Walden University with an Educational Specialists and Doctorate degree in Teacher Leadership, I also wanted to pursue my licensure for real estate. After completing coursework, I earned my license and was able to connect with Brenda Lee Strickland (BLS) Realty. The community at BLS had proven to be one that was complementary to my goals, so when Danielle became a licensed agent, I shared my experiences and she decided to become a part of the BLS family as well. From there, our passion continued to align with our purpose and birthed our collaborative partnership in real estate.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been far from easy. We have certainly had our fair share of struggles with the increase in mortgage rates, the shortage of properties, and with the contractual surprises that can happen throughout the home-buying process; however, despite these challenges we love having the opportunity to guide people to fulfill their real estate dreams.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are currently servicing Atlanta, Georgia and the surrounding cities! We are extremely proud that the majority of our business comes from referrals and from our homebuyer workshops. Our goal is to create a personalized experience throughout the home-buying process, and it’s a true blessing when our clients trust us enough to refer their family and friends.
With our educational background, our desire to encourage generational wealth, and our passion for real estate, we are able to educate along the journey to homeownership. We are sometimes referred to as a dynamic duo because we are able to work together seamlessly as one cohesive unit which provides our clients with a personalized experience from Day 1 until we get to the Closing Table. We are able to tag team our services so you can be sure that we are both advocating for our client’s best interest and getting the best deal.

As our business continues to grow, we are excited about our future ventures. RCM Realty & Investments and AOC Investments are our future projects and we are remaining steadfast in our desire to help our clients create wealth that grows and helps support future generations! Homeownership can help build wealth directly through price appreciation. Property that appreciates over time can serve as a gateway to creating a generational legacy. Thus, we as Agents D&A are excited about the foundation we are building as partner agents and the opportunity we have to help our clients make their dreams a reality!
