Today we’d like to introduce you to Alex Mauricio Avalos Vazquez.
Alex Mauricio, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I believe this started when I was a kid carrying a film camera around. Don’t know when I realize this is what I wanted to do, but I never felt like it was something I needed to do it was just a part of me. October 20 marks a year of me starting to pursue Fashion photography. Before I would practice on myself shooting self-portraits. Honestly, I haven’t truly opened my bookings due to the fact that I still want to build on my portfolio. I still look at this as my hobby which I know that this will eventually turn into more than that. How it feels right now is that I’m in the gym shooting free throws over and over and over and over and over again. I want my product that I offer to be wanted. Sought after. I recently just came back from a trip to New York to work with agencies. Pushing myself to get eyes on me then slowly build something. Remember the name, Alex Mauricio.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I hate waiting. So doing everything yourself. Sleep deprived. Bet on yourself.

Truly I’m just documenting my life. If people find the way I look at a life worth viewing or even (the dream) paying for it…
