Alicia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Four years ago, my husband and I relocated from Boca Raton, FL to Sandy Springs, GA to pursue career growth and opportunity. Georgia is home to many well-known company headquarters and it was a dream to leave our hometown and start fresh! Fast forward to 2022, we are homeowners and living the absolute dream. Prior to relocating to Georgia, I created a dream board of manifestation and goals for every five years of our journey. While scrolling through Instagram, I came across a page showcasing beautiful homes for sale @greathomesatl. This page always posted some of the most jaw-dropping homes on the market and I knew I wanted to someday make Mark and Curt my Realtors because I knew they could find my husband and me our dream home! We both worked two jobs when we initially relocated to save and invest our income. I believe you can achieve anything you set your heart out on!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Long nights, saving and having energy to push through but it was well worth the wait!
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I started my Instagram journey to showcase my fashion and daily life. I love to also show great deals and I cover a lot of popular sales. I currently post my content on Instagram @southernmelons.
I am most proud of being able to help others. It costs nothing to be kind or help someone else achieve a goal.
I was recently featured on the Tamron Hall for sharing my journey of becoming the healthiest version of me!
I currently work with a lot of small businesses and boutiques to help showcase their styles. My newest accomplishment is becoming a Revolve ambassador!
Who else deserves credit in your story?
Definitely my husband and my parents! I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful support system that can help me visualize my goals.
