Life & Work with Amaria Vail of Atlanta, Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amaria Vail.

Amaria, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I was raised in Southeast Georgia, where resources were limited, but the talent around me was boundless. My journey into content creation and photography started with a passion for storytelling and a desire to capture the world in unique ways. With little to no formal training, I taught myself through trial and error, sharing my work online and connecting with others. Over time, my skills grew, and I turned my passion into a career, grateful for the creative drive that my hometown instilled in me.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey in content creation hasn’t been a smooth road. For a while, I struggled with confidence and consistency/wanting to create but not fully believing in my voice or vision. Over time, I learned that energy follows passion. Once I stopped comparing myself and started creating from a place of authenticity, everything shifted. Now, I approach content with confidence, intention, and a genuine love for storytelling.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am brand ambassador and actor, I’m very passionate about representing brands with authenticity and bringing compelling stories to life on screen. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with audiences in a genuine way, bringing both professionalism and enthusiasm to every opportunity. One of my most memorable moments was filming for Tyler Perry for the first time an experiencing the incredible feeling of seeing myself on the big screen when the movie was released. I am grateful for every opportunity to grow, inspire, and leave a lasting impact through my work.

Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I use apps like CapCut, Adobe Lightroom, and InShot they’ve been instrumental in my creative growth, allowing me to enhance visuals, edit content seamlessly, and bring my artistic vision to life with greater precision and quality. This year, I also made a commitment to stick with a book and finish it, choosing Black Feeling, Black Talk, Black Judgment by Nikki Giovanni—a powerful read that has not only deepened my perspective but also inspired me to start reading more.
