Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Faith Council.
Hi Ashley Faith, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I am currently enrolled in an amazing it support training program pursuing my it google support certification. As I gain more knowledge in this field, I am also mastering my skills in communication, telecommunications, troubleshooting, networking, and customer service. I am also a serial entrepreneur, I help others find remote positions as well as educate the youth in my community about things that help them become successful in the future.
I started my own career board to help single moms and fathers in my community find great paying remote opportunities to be able to provide for themselves and their children. It saves money, gas, & allows people to spend more time with their children.
I have always been one of those people that love to help others get ahead in life. I hate to see others down. I just try my best to inform others of the things that help get me where I am today. Running a business can be quite a challenge. It has its ups and downs but there is no better feeling than being able to work for yourself and love what you do.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It has not always been easy for me. I have been through multiple trials and errors along my way. I keep myself surrounded by individuals who seem to be ahead of me and listen to their stories as motivation to keep going in all my business endeavors.
I have a had medical emergencies, financial burdens, nights where I am up crying, wishing, & praying for change. Change does not come from a sleeper. You have to be the one to get up and pick yourself up. Remind yourself who you are, what’s your purpose, who you do it for, what your end goal is.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I deem myself as a serial entrepreneur. I am not afraid to branch out into other career fields to succeed. I am what you would consider a jack of all trades. I have my master cosmetologist license, I do pr work, I’m an amazing cook, I can build websites, I’m a creative director and in charge of advertising for juugrunner atl, I model, & I am also an amazing mother to a beautiful six years old little girl named divine Isabelle.
I’m most proud of myself for overcoming my struggles with endometriosis. At times I wanted to give up because my body was in constant pain. My weight was inconsistent, my skin looked terrible. After my surgery, I promised myself and my daughter to never let myself slip into that dark place again. At the beginning of 2023, I set a few goals. I have already accomplished 3 out of the many goals I want to reach.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
Don’t worry about those who do not react or support you. Get up and show the world who you are no matter what. Remember your why & what your end goal is. Be you & love what it is that you do.
