Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
My journey began when I became a teen mom at 16. While it was a life-changing experience, I felt like a part of my youth and imagination was taken away too soon. That feeling stayed with me, and I became passionate about creating a space where girls could embrace their innocence and keep their imagination alive for as long as possible.
That’s how Bella’s Unicorn Palace was born. It’s not just a store—it’s a magical place where girls can be themselves, dream big, and hold onto the beauty of their youth. What started as an idea has grown into a mission to inspire and uplift, creating a space where joy, creativity, and confidence come together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road hasn’t always been smooth—life has its way of throwing twists and turns. There were definitely challenges along the way, from balancing responsibilities to figuring out how to grow my vision. At times, it felt like life was just ‘life-ing,’ but I stayed focused and kept pushing forward.
Now, I’m proud to say I’m on my second location, which feels like such a blessing. Every struggle taught me something and brought me closer to where I am today. It’s been a journey, but everything is everything now, and I’m excited for what’s ahead!

I specialize in creating unique experiences . At Bella’s Unicorn Palace, we’re known for crafting magical, free-spirited moments for everyone—not just the kids. It’s a place where people can let go and fully immerse themselves in joy and imagination.
Beyond the store, my music follows that same energy. As Bella Blaq, I strive to be an icon of creativity and empowerment, blending fun and authenticity in everything I do.
I’m also incredibly proud of my first book, The Magic Inside. It’s inspired by my personal growth and the magic that happens at Bella’s Unicorn Palace. Through my work—whether it’s in my store, my music, or my writing—I want to inspire people to embrace their individuality and find the magic within themselves!
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Yes, absolutely. Opening my store for the first time was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken. I had an investment from a dear friend, and while I was grateful, I had no clue what I was doing. All I had was a vision and a strong belief that it would work out.
It was a leap of faith, but I trusted that God had a plan for me, and that gave me the courage to move forward. Taking that risk taught me that sometimes, you don’t have to have it all figured out—you just need to trust your vision, put in the work, and believe that things will fall into place. That mindset has shaped everything I’ve done since.
