Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryan Clarke.
Bryan, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Originally born and raised in Brooklyn, NY of Jamaican descent and been in ATL for almost six years. I recently started getting into photography over two months ago and have been working on building my portfolio on Instagram.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I got laid off my job in NYC in visual merchandising at Brooks Brothers. Didn’t know how I was going to pay my rent at the time so I decided to relocate closer to my parents here in ATL who decided to buy a home in ATL from NYC. Since moving to ATL, I’ve had a few jobs that I’ve worked but am currently investing and focusing on music production and photography.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Im a singer, songwriter, and producer of mainly Christian music. I recently started to pick up photography as a hobby. But the photography seems to be getting a lot more buzz and traction. I’m most proud of my musicality and extensive creativity in multiple areas. I usually get that my creative approach is what sets me apart from others. I’m always told that I’m different.
What are your plans for the future?
I plan on creating more inspirational music. God willing. I also want to see where this photography, specifically portrait photography, will take me. I do have some upcoming photo gigs and have been networking with a few people who have very large followings on Instagram.
