Today we’d like to introduce you to C West. Them and their team share their story with us below:
C West is a singer, songwriter, and abstract artist based in Atlanta GA. Raised in the church, his love for music was cultivated at an early age while listening to his grandparents sing and play in church. After high school, West signed a deal with Tyscot Records thus launching his full-time music career. Since then, C West has led worship all around the world and across multiple platforms including the 2016 Stellar Awards. His accolades include billboard charting songs and a nomination for the coveted ‘New Artist of The Year’ at The Stellar Awards. His passions and gifts go beyond the stage and just like music, art has always been a part of his life. Under his ministry, Posture by C West, C West ministers through song, painting, and speaking, while seeking to put the heart of God on display. Through his painting, West attempts to create a tangible representation of what he believes God is speaking to him, and the sound he hears of heaven singing over him. He says it like this, “God is the artist and I am his canvas”. Through it all, his deepest enjoyment is in spending time with God, his wife Katie, and their two sons Zion and Ezra.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
My biological father never being in my life and my health this past year was really challenging.

I am a singer/songwriter and abstract artist. I am known for my love, my worship, and my ability to tell heartfelt stories through song. I am most proud of my wife (marriage) and two sons Zion and Ezra. I am blessed to have two baby boys.
What sets me apart is that I paint live on stage whenever I perform in the middle of my set. I’ve seen painters on stages, but I’ve never seen a singer turn around and start painting.
What were you like growing up?
Very silly and also very creative and good with my hands. I can pretty much fix anything that breaks, and I can figure out things without any directions pretty quickly.
