Today we’d like to introduce you to Carson Ash.
Hi Carson, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Carson Ash, I was born in Queens, South Side Jamaica to be exact. Though New York is my birth home Atlanta is my other this is where I was raised since I was 6 years old. Moving forward to current times 24 year old Carson is now a double major attending GSU obtaining degrees in business administration & Biology and after I plan on going to Pharmacy school but we can talk about that another time.I may be going to school to obtain two degrees one of them really has my passion and that business administration but the focus on marketing is my passion and to go deeper its social media marketing (content creation).
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The hardest part for me during this Journey has just really been trying to find opportunities that fit my goal and scope of work. Having to find my ways to prove my work and show it off through the numbers I have brought back.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
At the current moment, my choice of work is bartending which I’ve been doing for about five years alongside a focus in sales. I had to self-teach myself how to bartend with a little help from small classes here and there. I just built a love and craft for it on my own, I became so good at it that if asked, I even do small events. If you ask any guests, they all know me for just creating my own cocktails based on their needs of what they like to drink and taste.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
I have learned that sometimes things will take time and those you will be noticed and others will see you shine as much as you see yourself. That it is also okay to change the way you do your work and add new things under your belt and that I am always learning and will stay gaining knowledge.
