Today we’d like to introduce you to Charlotte Traore.
Hi Charlotte, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was a D1 track athlete on a full scholarship ride. Once I was injured with a quad strain they took money away from my scholarship and I felt unmotivated. I then decided to work for myself, but I needed more work ethic. I then applied to jobs like Travel agencies and customer service jobs. I learned ins and outs on how to maintain a business, and I’m working on being an influencer. Now, I will use YouTube and social media apps for marketing purposes to build my brand.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some struggles are definitely supported. Once you have your mind locked on a goal most of us are in it alone until we shine then there’s support. We definitely need to stay strong and keep thriving.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
I have a few but one of them was when my grandma and I were traveling to different states in Africa to get my legal papers to come to the USA.
