Life & Work with Chelsie Robinson of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chelsie Robinson.

Hi Chelsie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Hiiii Yes Thank You So Much for finding interest in me to have me interview for your platform I really appreciate it. I started as a little girl singing and watching Beyonce and Mariah Carey videos. When I discovered You Tube I would watch live performances for days and hours; locking myself in my room studying their vocals, their runs, their performance style. I never knew I could love anything so much from when I would watch their shows. Overtime I just started singing in school, my friends would always say omg girl you can really sing. I was so shy growing up but music was always the place were I could let lose and be free. A place where I could be anyone I wanted and say anything I felt. I have always just loved the way music made me feel. Then It kindof just stuck with me over the years. It really is my passion😌

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes it has always been smooth. I will never give up on my passion. Only 1 person can be at my concert and I will still perform and do music until I am 99 years old. I just honestly love making music, making music videos, and performing. It is really an art piece for me. I thank God everyday for the gift because singing is so good for my soul.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am most proud of my most recent project. It is called Feel: I Live Sensation. It is on all streaming platforms and It is doing very well and everyone loves it. It is definitely a passion project of mine because I have some emotional problems lol. It felt so good just to sing to make myself happier. I am a generally a happy person but over the years I have experienced a little depressed so music has definitely been something amazing and fun to help me overcome that emotion. Thats why I called it feel, it is very important to feel your emotions and not hold them in which causes depression. The project really is a double entendre because it means to feel your emotions and to feel for/the person you love. I just really love making love songs and I feel that love rules the world. I dont really hear too many people in my generation making beautiful love songs so I just thought that should be my focus. I am really proud of all my projects I have put out but this is definitely my favorite because I can definitely see the growth in my music from singing about not having feeling to feel. I am super excited for this next project I plan to put out next year. Its is definitely super sexy and will have you saying “my man my man my man” all day. 😌

Any big plans?
My future plans are to get married move to LA and keep falling my passion. I just love making music and Ijust want to put out beautiful love songs Forever and Ever. Thank you so much for this time and For seeing me. Love You 😘❤️
