Today we’d like to introduce you to Dariel Dajanee.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Moving to Atl from Chicago is where it all started. Moving in the middle of Covid might’ve been the best risk I took so far because it’s no way I would be where I am today had I played it safe. Coming to Atlanta I had dreams of becoming a celebrity makeup artist but I found myself becoming a complete homebody due to the lack of knowing anyone. But once I started meeting people I found myself in a great gym community that fostered a lot of great friendships and connections that landed me where I am today. I firmly believe it’s not what you know sometimes it’s who you know!! After pivoting career fields and finding myself falling inlove with content creation I took a year off from work to cultivate this “ content creator “ lifestyle, that made a lot of my peers look at me as a go-to for great ideas.. branding knowledge and I just became the “ content girlie “ after life started started life-ing I pivoted into my “ safe “ field when it comes to 9-5 which is management, fun fact I was a beauty studio coordinator at Sephora before I made my move so management and coordination was my lane before I started dreaming bigger. Anywho once life got real I went back to my 9-5 which was dreadful but I went back knowing the goal was to leave again eventually. After some time I found myself September 2025 leaving my job with no plan just vibes and it was scary and not planned at all but God makes no mistakes. I decided marketing and branding was a passion of mine and I was determined to learn all I found via YouTube university on how to build brands, story tell through content and most of all capitalize from my attention to detail and creativity, 5 months later I got offered a position at a amazing marketing agency of a well known Marketing Strategist here in ATL. And after all the loops and up/down hill battles I’m in a position I can learn and grow from everyday. My career doesn’t end with marketing I plan to reboot my YouTube channel and incorporate my content creating goals back into my life as well. I wear many hats and I don’t plan on taking any off any time soon! The ultimate goal is to do everything that makes me happy and makes me money IJN!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Some challenges along the way would definitely have to be maintaining faith, I have been prioritizing my walk with God and faith is big for me because even when things look literally scary it’s a bigger picture that we sometimes just can see and that’s enough to just keep going even when things aren’t what you want or need them to be. Being a single female in a new city is tough it’s not like mommy and daddy are funding my life so it’s been many of times I have had 0 income but plenty of monthly bills and I would worry and panic on how I would maintain my life but God has always made a way because I always kept atleast a mustard seed of faith.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am an account manager/marketing specialist and I specialize in all things marketing and branding for the clients of our agency.
I’m most proud of all the self taught skills I have and meeting opportunity with my preparation when the time came to show what all I could do it showed and that’s what sets me apart! My team and clients can always count on me to be creative, be on point and be dependable to execute any vision that comes my way.
I am also a content creator.. creating lifestyle beauty content & soon to roll out Christian based content!
What does success mean to you?
This is a good one. Success to me is the willingness to keep going! Sometimes success isn’t just about crossing the finish line it’s about longevity what happens after the goal is accomplished. The legacy that’s being created ultimately defines true success.
