Life & Work with Ezabella Wilder of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ezabella Wilder.

Hi Ezabella , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my wrestling journey early 2018 when the wrestling movie “Fighting with My Family” the story about Paige’s (Sarah’s) wrestling journey came out. I watched it and immediately knew I wanted to be a wrestler, that I was going to be a wrestler! My mother (my number 1 supporter for life) helped me sign up for classes, worked on my gear and my move set, and then unfortunately Covid came around and rained on my parade.

I didn’t think about wrestling again until 2023 when I went to a local wrestling show at the “WWA4”, ran by AR Fox; who two years in the future would become my first teacher! Fast forward two years in the future when I finally had enough courage to actually get in the ring and start training, and in just 3 months I had my debut match!

Now here I am 5 months later, having worked some of the top promotions in Georgia, Alabama,Tennessee and Florida I feel that I’ve finally found a home with 1 Fall Wrestling and to an extent Cody Rhodes’ training school “The Nightmare Factory”.

With over 50 matches under my belt, a great wrestling family, an amazing support system, and a loving boyfriend who knows WAYYY more about wrestling than I do, I am more motivated than ever and ready to show my peers, the audiences, and myself that I was born to be a wrestler!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The road so far has definitely NOT been easy ! Having to recover from a mild neck injury in the beginning stages of my career almost set me back but with determination and consistency I’m back and better than ever !

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Being only 8 months into my career I wasnt sure how much I could get accomplished but my ambition has led me to being able to work for over 10 promotions, 50 matches, multiple tv tapings and most recently winning the title of “ DeepSouth Rookie of The Year “

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
A few characteristics that I feel have been most important to my success are:
• coachability: I like to think I’m pretty coachable ! At times I may get frustrated ( don’t we all ) but I think it’s my drive and passion for what I do that keeps me going !
• compatibility:I know I’m green ( new ) to the business but I believe my willingness and eagerness to try and learn new things makes me easy and fun to work with !
