Life & Work with Fabian Zywiol Artur Dykiel of Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fabian Zywiol Artur Dykiel.

Hi Fabian Zywiol, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
DUO DARKNESS a project that came to the foundation in
2019. Our performance is based on the Hand to Hand and
Aerial Straps presentation. A powerful and professional acrobatic performance on the
stage for all kind of audience.
The Production was developed from a lot of passion and
created by Fabian Zywiol and Artur Dykiel.
Duo Darkness has performed on various stages such as
Wintergarten Berlin, A Touch
of Gold, Roncallli’s Apollo Varieté, Europapark, The Box New York and London
Festival of Fear Traumatica in Germany, Energylandia,
Parfait Athens, Guest Entertainment on MSC Poesia, MSC
Seashore, Hippo Drome Circus,
Celebrity Apex, Celebrity Ascent, Celebrity Beyond
and any venues of other dinner shows.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like every way to success is not easy and smooth, when COVID19 came, we lost all our contracts, which we signed before.
Unfortunately, we needed to find other jobs to cover our costs, so we decided to teach kids, teenagers, and adults sport acrobatics.
We had 3 sport clubs where we spent our time and shared our talents with the athletes.
It was a beautiful journey, but after a while, we missed the stage and performing for the audience.
We glad the bad times got over and we could return to the stage and do what we love the most.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Our work is based on sport acrobatics. Before we started our career, we’ve been performing as athletes in sport clubs. We participate in different categories of sport acrobatics, duos and quattros. We participate in National and International championships, like European championships and World championships. For a long time, we performed for our National Team in Poland, in the years 2010 – 2015.
After our sport career got to the end, we started to perform our Hand to Hand and Aerial Straps act on the stage for different venues around Europe. Our first contract in 2019 was in the theme park Energylandia in Poland.
It was an experience and pleasure to perform there at this time, with the age of 19 years old.
We learned a lot about show business and how to perform and present ourselves on the stage for the audience.
After few years of traveling and performing on different venues, we receive more contracts for international shows, like Wintergarten Berlin, Roncallis Apollo Variete, Europapark, Celebrity Cruises, MSC Cruises, Touch of Gold, and other dinner shows around the world. The most, we are proud of the team, which we built together with Artur Dykiel and me, Fabian Zywiol. In our profession the team-build is the key to the success and the communication and trust is in our business the most important. We are proud to do what we love and share our talent with the audience, on stage and outside the stage. What makes us different from others is hard to say, but I think the most difference is the unique presence on the stage and the certainty in the performance. We try to get into the role of the character in the shows as much as possible to present the full experience of the performance on the stage.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
The most quality in our work is the trust to another person. We build the trust for years to present all the performance on the stage.
The team building in our profession has very important roles.
Without these qualities, it is very hard to build a team for years.
We are glad to build such a good team and have the trust in each other.
