Today we’d like to introduce you to Forever Juice.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born in College Park, GA, and grew up in Peachtree City. Growing up, I always had a musical background, beginning with my mom being in the choir at church. Seeing my mother’s passion for music made me fall more in love with it. In turn, I developed my own passion. Starting with the drumline, then chorus, and then band, it was always in me. I had the opportunity to record when I was 17. I freestyled my first record and fell in love. I got over-expected feedback from my peers and people at school, and it just fueled my fire. After uploading it on SoundCloud, and going through the honeymoon phase of my music, I knew I wanted to further develop my craft long-term and on a much larger scale. I started writing my thoughts, feelings, and emotions so I could understand myself and my message better. Making my own music and hearing myself in a different light changed everything. What made it even better was after recording my first record my friends got into it as well. We all started creating together and sharing ideas and passion, and in turn it created a small movement between us and in our hometown. I have spent my recent time developing my craft and expanding my network. As a major part of the Red Room Records LLC, we have multiple talented and independent artists, producers, engineers, photographers, etc. so a large part of my drive is building this brand to the point that we won’t need any major label support. It’s bigger than just me, it’s a family.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing worth truly earning is a smooth journey. There have been a lot of late nights, early mornings, and self-doubt but what keeps me going is the inspiration constantly surrounding me by my close friends and family. Something that helps me through hard times is reminding myself that this is in me not on me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am a recording artist that creates whatever I feel like creating. I try not to put any boundaries on myself so I can stay outside my comfort zone and push myself. Something I am most proud of is myself. I’m proud of how far I have taken myself and who I am today versus who I was years ago.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I would define success as being what you make it. Success is not a concrete definition, it is relevant to the person. My version of success is taking care of my family while trying to reach my fullest potential/being the best version of myself.
