Life & Work with Gaby Chavarria of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gaby Chavarria.

Hi Gaby , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I never wanted anything to do with sales or business. My husband’s been in real estate for 8 years, and I was always just happy helping behind the scenes with marketing.
But last year, something shifted.

He asked me to go to a closing for him. I took a selfie and sent it to my family, and my sister replied, “Realtor in the making!”
I laughed. HARD. “Absolutely not,” I said.

But God had other plans.

A month later, we went to the Life Surge conference… and something clicked. I felt God telling me — “You were made for more.”
Not for sales… but to serve. To love. To be used as a blessing in people’s lives.

It took me 6 months to even start my course. Another 6 to finish it.
I failed tests, doubted myself, almost quit. But God kept pushing me through — and my husband reminded me, “You can’t quit without even starting.”

I got my license in March 2025.
Had my first closing with my best friend.
And now… I’m just getting started.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I always thought I wasn’t smart enough to understand the whole real estate market! But then I learned that everything is a learning process I obviously didn’t understand something I had not yet learned! I’m still not an expert I’m learning as I am growing! Being a full time
Mom is not easy it comes with challenges trying to find my rhythm. But it helps to have a supportive family and friends! It’s made a huge difference.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Realtor
I didn’t join this industry just to sell homes — I’m here to serve with purpose.
My journey into real estate wasn’t planned… it was a calling.

I bring heart, faith, and real-life experience to the table. I’ve been the marketing help, the emotional support, the encourager behind the scenes — and now I get to walk with my clients from start to sold, in both English and Spanish.

Whether it’s your first home, your forever home, or just figuring out where to start — I’m not here to pressure you. I’m here to guide you, pray with you (if you’d like), and celebrate every milestone with you.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love that Atlanta has everything! There’s so much beautiful real estate! Every city has its own unique history, charm and style! So we help family finds their home all around metro Atlanta! What I hate most about the city is definitely the traffic! But I’ve already gotten use to it! I actually enjoy the ride!
