Today we’d like to introduce you to Ginger Snyder
Hi Ginger, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
As the Founder of Sundry Studios, my business model was ultimately born out of what I experienced as a void in the photo/video industry in a previous role as a Creative Marketing Director, along with my desire to serve my community and make an impact on the people around me. I am a strong believer that we were all placed on this earth to serve a greater purpose, and there is a certain kind of beauty in humbly embracing a way of life that fulfills those duties. As for me, I find joy in creation – this could be design, brand development, photography, videography, handy work, curation, etc. I have always found myself exploring creative avenues in whichever field I currently serve because that’s where my passion lives.
With nearly a decade-long background of consulting dozens upon dozens of small business owners, specifically within the real estate industry in my role with Engel & Völkers Atlanta, I’ve had the pleasure of observing the impact of a strong content creation strategy and the power of visual storytelling on brand growth. It is a true honor to be entrusted with the task of shaping and elevating the brand images of the people I have been fortunate to serve, whether it be from a marketing consultation, ongoing strategy execution, and photo/video campaign, or brand development.
My love for all of the above particularly blossomed in my work for Millennial Marketing, an Atlanta-based creative marketing agency that serves the real estate, F&B, retail, and corporate-based industries. Within my role at Millennial Marketing, I serve as a lead strategist alongside the Founder, Christa Huffstickler, who also owns Engel & Völkers Atlanta. Millennial Marketing specializes in Brand Development and Marketing Strategy, while Sundry Studios specializes in content creation, creative direction, and visual storytelling in the form of brand photography and videography, so naturally, the melding of the two pursuits for me provides a dynamic workflow that allows me to pursue my love for all things creative and work alongside some of the industry’s best and most regarded leadership.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Making a lifestyle change is never an easy step, but sometimes you have to make those hard decisions to prioritize the things that matter most in your life, which for me is an intentional family and friend-oriented lifestyle that also allows for my creative pursuits… not the other way around. I have always been fond of my photo-based and marketing-centric work and the collaborative opportunities that come about within the creative industry with other talented individuals, but within the past several years I have challenged myself to make the hard decisions that push me out of my comfort zone and allow me to exercise my creative abilities in a more broadened and established fashion, while keeping my priorities in line. Looking back over the past decade, I have absolutely loved my professional career path, seeing that it has molded me into the dynamic, creative, professional that I am today. I have been faced with many constructive challenges within that path, especially in holding a leadership position for nearly half a decade, but all for the betterment of my character and skillsets.
All in all, to say that I love what I do is an understatement. I have just recently chosen to pursue a path that allows me to pursue those passions on a much larger scale and in a way that allows me to evolve as a professional while also balancing family life, with that being my number one priority.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Here’s a little bit more about Sundry Studios, my Atlanta-based visual content creation studio that specializes in brand and lifestyle photography and videography.
Sundry Studios is an Atlanta-based content creation studio focused on developing authentic on-brand visuals for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and growing brands. From elevated brand photography to a series of video-based offerings, we specialize in capturing you and your business in a way that highlights your value, speaks to your target audience, and tells your brand story with a blend of professionalism and personality.

Through the creation of intentional photo- and video-based content strategies, we offer your audience an immersive glimpse into your brand and give them a good reason to hang around.
Beyond this… I am know for my editorial/lifestyle photography. If you follow me on instagram at @sundrycreativestudios, you’ll notice that I aim to capture authentic lifestyle moments in everything I do. Our services of course span into brand videography, but this company initially stemmed from my love for photographing people, specifically business professionals. And let me tell you… it never gets old. In fact, since my rebrand to Sundry Studios and a larger-scale pursuit of this profession, it has been remarkable to see how my skillsets have evolved in only a few short months after “mastering” my art over the past decade.
Beyond my work with Sundry Studios, I suppose it makes sense to touch on my initial career path outside of college. I went to Georgia Southern University and studied Public Relations, where they make you write…a LOT. Turns out, I’m pretty good at it, which plugs in nicely to everything I do modern-day. After college, I pursued a few PR-related roles but ultimately found myself in the Marketing industry ultimately thriving in this self-taught industry as I mastered strategy, campaigning, media relations, graphic design, branding, consulting, etc. I was graciously recruited into a role with Engel & Völkers Atlanta that gave me the creative freedom to learn and hone my marketing skillsets across the board, which is what I attribute my transition into the well rounded creative and strategic professional I am today, specifically giving thanks to Christa, who mentored me the entire way (whether she knows it or not).
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
This was such an easy answer for me. To me, success is reaching a point in life where you are able to achieve true peace and happiness living within your means in a way that brings you the most joy, whether that’s a professional pursuit or personal lifestyle, or a combination of both. This isn’t necessarily saying you have the perfect life – more like, you are at a place where you are able to respond to your circumstances in a positive way and make the most out of your whatever the situation may be. Success has never been about the money for me. I want to love what I do, wake up excited to do it, and have the luxury of spending my time according to my priorities.
