Today we’d like to introduce you to Gregthalia Charles.
Hi Gregthalia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started doing balloon art when I was about 14 years old. It began as a fun side hustle for family and friends, but soon after strangers started asking me to make some and it just started branching out from there.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There was a time when I got back to school after doing balloon art all summer when I had to manage between school, work and after-school activities. It was a struggle at first, but I was able to mangas, and now I do balloon art throughout the whole year
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I do balloon art specifically, I make balloon arches. I also include backdrops and other party decorations. I am most proud of a balloon arch where I had the opportunity to create four different ones for a party. It was a challenge, but it was a great opportunity that helped me network more.
How do you think about happiness?
My brother makes me so happy. He has been a great support system throughout my whole career and has helped me network with many people.
