Hi Iris, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I stared off with photography, taking photos through out the city of Atlanta. Shortly after I began taking portraits of local Atlanta artist. Eventually I got into photoshop creating collages. Making covers. Years later i’ll begin making music along with music videos. I’ll start getstonedoffart.com. A place for me to sell my art and express ideas.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road definitely has not been smooth, but where I’m at today I wouldn’t change it for the world. I made some good decisions and some bad ones, but who hasn’t.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create visuals along with music. I don’t really specialize in one medium. I don’t think self expression needs to be tied to any specific craft. I’m most likely known for my photography work. I’d say what sets me apart from others is my honesty and my story.
If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Honesty, confidence, and courage.
