Hi Ivette, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a fashion and lifestyle blogger and the author of simplelifemx.com. Originally from Mexico City and now based in Atlanta, GA.
With more than seven years of experience, I worked with brands like Givenchy, Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, SHEIN and more. Also, I created my clothing line with the American Wholesale Olgyn.
Communication Degree and presence in multiple media, like TV, radio and magazines in Mexico and USA.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Communication Degree with minor in Merchandising
Blogger as a job.
I’m most proud of the brands I worked with, being a guest in multiples Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and being honored as one of the “Distinguished Graduates” from my University.
What sets me apart from others is that I have always loved fashion, it is my passion. Fashion has allowed me to find myself as a woman, as a Latina and more importantly, my humanity.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I do not have a mentor, as I utilized Networking to meet like-minded people and it allowed me to grow organically.
