Life & Work with Jaimie Steck of Orlando

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaimie Steck.

Hi Jaimie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My name is Jaimie Steck. I’m a pop performing artist from sunny Orlando, Florida. I grew up in the entertainment field as an actress and moved my way into singing once I graduated high school. I grew up watching the great performers in the music industry and felt a fire inside. I knew in those moments that this is what I was meant to do and ever since then I haven’t stopped working towards what I know I’m meant to do.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every road has its bumpy paths. Learning how to navigate this business as an independent artist has had its trials and tribulations. Whether financial (learning where to spend your money successfully and where not to), professionally (learning who to trust and who has your best interest at heart), or personally (learning to never give up when you don’t succeed at every turn), it can test you, but at the end of the day, if it’s what you love and what you’re meant to do, nothing will ever stop you.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m known as the pop princess of the East Coast. I specialize in bringing the showmanship aspect back to the pop music industry. Every music video I produce must have all out choreography, costumes, sets, the works. I’m most proud of the show I put on anytime I’m on a stage. My favorite artists to watch are the ones that go all out and suck you into their world of glitz and glam. I’m someone who never settles for less than the best. When I perform, I want every aspect to be thought out and meaningful, and for every second to make those watching feel alive again.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I fund everything myself. I’m an independent artist working multiple jobs to finance my career, and as someone who refuses to settle for less, I’m working day in and day out to make my dreams come true.
