Today we’d like to introduce you to Javonte Olds.
Hi Javonte, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Before the Covid outbreak, I was working for a warehouse company leading the logistics team and coordinating deliveries. As time went by, I was laid off due to shortness of work. I had no sense of direction. I ran into many obstacles trying to find another job, So, I decided to sign up for door dash and Instacart to makes ends meet and pay my bills at the time, I was constantly out driving all around Atlanta and chasing the bonus Promotions that they had in different areas. Then I realized that I was working longer hours just to make a few hundred dollars. My earnings never grew.
During the Covid Outbreak, I turned to online to make income. Constantly trying to figure out the fastest way to make a lot of money in the shortest amount of time. I’ve tried everything, from stocks, ecommerce, resale, wholesale and many other things. But it never stuck with me. I was not passionate about trading, nor just selling goods online. I wanted to make an impact on others. I wanted to do something that will not only last a lifetime, but something that you can pass down from generation to generation.
I realized that working a regular 9-5 shift or 12-hour shift was not enough. Working long hours, not spending enough time with my family, and not being able to have my “freedom”. I was confined to a work schedule that someone else have created for me to follow. So, I made a promise to myself. ” I will retire myself before the age of 30″.
In 2023, Tragedy stuck. I received a disturbing phone call that my best friend had passed away. I was beyond hurt. I never would have thought that I would get that call. Joshonda, my best friend was no longer here with me, I didn’t know how to feel, my emotions were everywhere. After her funeral, I decided to take a leap of faith into entrepreneurship.
I started to surround myself with likeminded individuals. People who were not only making the money and living the lifestyle that I wanted but helping others in the process.
So, I began to follow in my mother’s footsteps. She created her own at Home Travel Agency. Where she taught people how they can create multiple streams of income online from the very same thing that people work so hard to do. Which is Travel. When many people retire, they want to travel the world and visit places they could only imagine. I was blown away when I learned that you could make money from traveling the world. There are commissions that are built into all things travel related.
Then it clicked. WHY not be able to travel the world and make money all at the same time. It was a no brainer. So, I took a leap of faith and started my own at Home Travel Agency, When I first got started in the business, I had no clue where to start. I was totally confused on how the business worked and how it was operated. I was not going to let the lack of education and overthinking stop me from learning how to operate my own business.
I kept attending to all of her trainings, the company wide events, and started to get in the rooms with mentors and leaders that were leading a team of thousands of people. I finally got out of my comfort zone and started to work the room and ask questions that most people were nervous about asking. I was determined to learn how to avoid the same mistakes they made as a beginner.
In December 2024, I was confident enough to share my story with a good friend of mine, He was shocked when he heard about the opportunity that was out there. He later became my very first business partner. Once he joined me in business, we both became obsessed with helping others start their own business without having a ton of money. As time went by, I have been blessed with the opportunity in helping 6 families start and maintain their online business.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Some of the biggest struggles that I faced when starting was Inconsistency. I was so focused on knowing a lot about everything instead of learning a lot about one particular thing. I began to start and stop everything that I wanted to do. I was putting things off, and constantly overthinking my next move,
I was looking for validation in all the wrong places. I was looking for it from friends, and people that was not even on the same page as I was.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am considered a Network Marketing Agent. I specialize in helping other create their own at home-based travel agency all for a very small start-up cost. We are considered the very first at home travel agency that was ever created. Our company has grown over 135,000 agents in the past 10 years of its creation. We have paid out commissions to date over 38 million dollars and counting, we offer renown leadership, one on one mentorships, virtual and in-person trainings, companywide events at a special rate, and finally companywide recognition.

During my time in the company, I have grown my entire network with people that are available at any time of the day to help me succeed. What makes me Happy?? Happiness comes from the fact that I know that I am working hard every day towards my goals and shaping my future the way I want it to be. I am breaking a generational curse that lies within my culture, I never had the flashiest clothing, car, or any other materialistic items, But I’ve always had what I needed to succeed, Therefore, I want my kids to be able to have anything that they’re heart’s desire without looking at their bank accounts and wondering how they are going to make the rent the next month.
