Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Allen.
Hi Jeremiah, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Faithful September started as a side project in 2020 to express myself outside of my old band EnDeN. I started with releasing my debut single called “She Is”. A song about watching your significant other slip into depression and self harm. I later removed the track as it was poorly produced.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t really been all that smooth. I faced a lot of writers block after my debut single back in 2020. I never could decide what Faithful September really was. I would rebrand, and tease new music. Though it took me until 2022 to decide Faithful Septembers fate. As I released my first single in two years. An instrumental piece called “Center Piece”.
I decide Faithful September is a solo project that aims more towards releasing my deepest form of expression. Rather than trying to conform to the machine that is the music industry.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Faithful September is a solo “band”. A project with no home. My only specialty is taking the noise that lives in my head, and releasing it into mp3’s for the world to try to comprehend. I guess really the thing I’m most proud of. When it comes to Faithful September anyways. Is that I’ll never kneel before the machine, or take it from the man. I’ll always be the leader of the pack. A lone wolf if you may.
What matters most to you? Why?
Streams… Please just show a local artist that there is still people in this world. Ai is taking over, and people are just riding the coat tails of the machine. What even is real music, if you’re just waiting on the machine to give you the answer.
Why does this matter? Because local artist like me are starving to give the PEOPLE,,, NOT THE MACHINE… real music.
