Life & Work with John Stringer

Today we’d like to introduce you to John Stringer.

Hi John, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up in Chattanooga, TN and was blessed to attend USMA/West Point, transferring after my first year to Morehouse College in the early 90s. I left my senior year eventually perusing music, starting PolyPlat Records w/ a rock band (State of Man), landing a billboard chart top 10 single, and launching IndieHitmaker.com to help 100s other independent artists get credit for their indie album sales. I was also blessed w/ a SpellHouse daughter, Phoenix, who graduated from Spellman and is finishing her doctorate at University of Michigan (to be clear, her mother, who also graduated from Spellman, deserves all the credit). I gained a bonus daughter, Jolie, now a senior at Kennesaw State, when I married my wife, Kathy, and we brought our now 13 years old son, John H. Stringer V, to the family.

Thankfully, my wife and I found how to allow God / Source to direct our paths and we’ve been blessed to create the lives of our dreams while serving in powerful and fulfilling ways. After joining corporate America and becoming Director of Marketing for an Atlanta-based high-growth digital marketing agency, I stepped away in 2015, launched an app at SXSW with IndieHitmaker.com and eventually resigned from that company to follow guidance back to music, writing a book, speaking at spiritual centers, and starting an events management agency with my wife called Healing Arts Management (www.healingartsmgmt.com). We’ve collaborated to host events and retreats all around the world, including wonderful locations like Italy, Peru, Jamaica and more. Our core teachings center around alignment with Source / God and we help others access their genius to experience their birthright and step fully into the roles they are here for!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. Growth is rarely comfortable. I’ve been blessed with plenty of self-inflected and environmental discomforts and I have overcome – from making many mistakes as a youth and through college to surrendering to Source/God and learning to forgive myself, take responsibility and realize the many lessons life has brought, I’ve been blessed to grow from every choice I’ve made. From homelessness, mental breakdown, depression, and irresponsibility, to spiritual awakening, maturing and a life of service and abundance, I have been truly blessed. A like to think of the old faith saying with a twist: “If the I AM is for me, who can be against me!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I.’m grateful for touring the world with my Rock band, State of Man, in the early 200s and our 10 years run that included a top 10 Billboard single, “Swallow Your Fears,” along with other accolades and awards.

I currently specialize in alignment with Source / God from moment to moment and helping others choose the same. Through this alignment, I serve clients through guidance sessions one-on-one, my wife & I host a podcast called “Awakened Pillow Talk,” I host a solo podcast called “The Alignment Podcast,” and I’ve been blessed to release two solo albums, Limitless Love & Light and Moment to Moment (Live), speak and sing at events and spiritual centers around the world; publish a channeled book, The Abundance Vibration: A Guide to Alignment. I’m also proud of creating Healing Arts Management with my wife to create events and experiences that help so many people awaken to their own ability to listen to Source / God / Spirit and gain clarity on what they are here for while finding harmony in mind, body, and soul!

I’m also collaborating with four other artists, sharing the alignment process, to write songs for a new project called Reverence, due in 2024.

I’m proud of our last three international retreats in Italy with the Big Glow retreats, in Peru with Sacred Spiritual Tours and in Jamaica with Your Phoenix is Rising, all wonderful partners we (Healing Arts Management) collaborated with to bring transformative tours, retreats &b experiences together – before and during the recent world changes.

We’re planning a retreat in Mexico to include Whale watching experiences and hoping to reboot our wonderful Conscious Songwriting Retreat which we suspended during the start of the Covid outbreak.

My wife and I consult in helping others experience breakthrough’s in health with powerful bio-hack technology at http://bit.ly/jandkasea.

Finally, we’re looking for 60 or more acres in or near Georgia to launch a new University campus and modern city powered by new, sustainable, cutting-edge technology and designed in a conscious way that really takes care of all generations (from cradle to grave).

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
You might not know my son and I play video games & watch anime together often. In fact, we’re hoping to create a tour in Japan for similar families to join us in experiencing Anime culture there.
