Life & Work with Katherine of Dacula GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katherine.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Dr. Katherine Iguina – From Puerto Rico to Purpose

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico in a Catholic family, and while my faith gave me a foundation, I always felt a deeper calling to understand spirituality, purpose, and the meaning of life in ways that religion alone could not answer. At 25, I left Puerto Rico to study abroad—first in St. Kitts, then the Cayman Islands, and eventually the United States—where I began my career as a veterinarian, a profession I loved deeply and dedicated more than 15 years to.

But behind the success, I was also healing my own traumas and searching for something greater. My spiritual journey took a profound turn when I discovered the work of Dolores Cannon. Reading her books led me to my very first Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) session, and my life was never the same. In that moment, I connected with my Higher Self, gained clarity on my soul’s purpose, and understood that we are never truly alone—we are here to learn, grow, and live fully.

That experience transformed me and prepared me for the next chapter of my life: becoming a Level 2 QHHT practitioner and embracing my true purpose—to empower others through this powerful method. QHHT is at the heart of my work today. It is the foundation that helps people uncover the root causes of their struggles, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. From what we discover in QHHT, I then integrate coaching as a complementary step—helping clients put their breakthroughs into daily action and long-term transformation.

Along this journey, I realized how many women and people suffer from a lack of self-love. That inspired me to expand my path as a holistic life coach. Today, I guide women to release what holds them back, rediscover their worth, and step into a life of freedom, balance, and empowerment.

Most importantly, I carry this mission for my 13-year-old daughter. I want her to see that anything is possible if you dare to dream, work hard, keep a positive attitude, and Never Give Up!

My journey—from Puerto Rico, to studying abroad, to veterinary medicine, to QHHT and holistic coaching—has taught me that true transformation begins the moment you choose yourself. When you become aware, when you give yourself permission to heal, you open the door to a life of freedom, clarity, and purpose.

My message is simple: be true to yourself, honor what makes you happy, and never be afraid to follow your dreams wherever they may lead. Life is too precious to live on autopilot. This is your time to awaken, to heal, and to transform—because the fullest, most beautiful version of your life is waiting for you.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. In fact, I didn’t make it through veterinary school the first time. I had to start all over again in the Cayman Island’s, where I not only rebuilt my dream of becoming a Veterinarian but also met the love of my life, my husband. From there, we immigrated to the United States, and the challenges only grew—language barriers, cultural differences, and the constant pressure of proving myself worthy to colleagues as a DVM.

There were times I struggled with insecurity, self-confidence, and the weight of being far from home. Choosing myself and my dreams meant sacrificing time with family, starting over in a new country, and supporting my husband, who is Cuban, as we both worked from scratch to build a better life.

It was hard—but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Those struggles shaped me into who I am today. They taught me resilience, courage, and the value of never giving up on your vision. In the struggles, you discover your true strength, and in the darkness, you find your light. I am proud of the woman I have become, of the accomplishments we’ve built as a family, and of the legacy I am leaving behind. Our life is better because of both the victories and the struggles, and I carry them with pride.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My full-time profession is as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Alpharetta, Georgia. Caring for animals, healing them, and seeing the joy it brings to their families is truly one of my greatest prides and joys. I love what I do as a veterinarian—it fulfills my passion for service, compassion, and healing on a very real and physical level.

At the same time, there is another side to my work that is equally important to me. I am also a Level 2 Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) practitioner and a holistic life coach, focused on women’s empowerment and transformation. QHHT is at the heart of this path—it helps my clients connect with their Higher Self to uncover the root causes of struggles, release limiting beliefs, and gain clarity on their soul’s purpose. From the insights revealed in QHHT, I integrate coaching as a complementary step to help women take action, rebuild their self-love, and create lasting change.

Today, I balance my time between my DVM practice, part-time QHHT sessions, and building my life coaching business, especially for the Latin community. I’ve noticed a great lack of awareness and empowerment for women in my culture, and this has become a driving force for me. My mission is to help women break free from self-doubt, rediscover their worth, and step into a life of balance, freedom, and empowerment.

What sets me apart is the way I bridge two worlds: science and spirituality. My veterinary background gives me a foundation of discipline, care, and medical knowledge, while my own personal journey of healing and self-discovery allows me to connect with people on a deeper, spiritual level. I am proud of the legacy I am building—not just as a veterinarian, but as a guide for women who are ready to awaken, heal, and transform their lives.

At the heart of everything I do—whether it’s healing an animal, guiding a woman through QHHT, or empowering my Latin community—I hold onto this truth: you are worthy, you are not alone, and transformation begins the moment you say yes to yourself.

How do you think about luck?
I don’t see life in terms of luck—good or bad. Instead, I believe deeply in the Law of Attraction: what you think, feel, and believe is what you call into your life. We are powerful creators, and every thought and intention carries energy that shapes our reality.

Rather than waiting for luck, I focus on alignment—staying positive, holding a vision for my life, and working with faith and perseverance. When we do this, the right people, opportunities, and circumstances flow into our path, guiding us toward growth and transformation.

I believe each of us is both the author and the main character of our own story. When we choose awareness and take responsibility for our energy, we step into our true power. Life isn’t about luck—it’s about creating with intention, love, and trust in the journey.
