Life & Work with Keshia Rice

Today we’d like to introduce you to Keshia Rice.

Keshia Rice

Hi Keshia, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
It all started with a quarter-life crisis! I was unhappy with my life – I didn’t like my job, I wasn’t feeling spiritually fulfilled, and my relationships were terrible. I broke down one day while planning a friend’s bridal shower and became determined to turn things around. I took a new job, moved to Atlanta, and met the man who became my husband. After a few years of working on healing myself, I want to help other women do the same, so I became certified as a life coach, and decided to specialize in dating and relationships.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My journey has been fairly smooth, which I attribute to having a strong sense of purpose in what I do. My biggest struggle has been allowing myself to take up more space and shine. I was previously a TV news producer, and I had gotten used to being behind the scenes. Now, I’m my own brand, so it was uncomfortable at first being in front of a camera on social media and being in the spotlight. But I understand that what I do is very personal, and the women I work with want the chance to get to know me and relate to me.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a dating coach and hypnotherapist. I specialize in helping ambitious, professional women heal from unhealthy relationship patterns (with family, friends, and past romantic relationships) and gain the confidence to heal, set boundaries, and attract healthy love. I’m proud of helping women stand up for themselves and not settle for less. I’m different from other dating coaches because I focus so much on mindset. I incorporate hypnosis into my practice, and I’ve done it – I’ve gone from having a history of toxic relationships to being in a loving marriage.

What matters most to you?
The most important thing I can ever do is give a woman the courage and the keys to love herself above all else. Once she finds that love, the world opens up to her! I know what it’s like to be in a really low place, and I’m determined to be the woman I so desperately needed in my life back then.
