Life & Work with Kris Enchev

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kris Enchev.

Kris Enchev

Hi Kris, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Simplistic clothing started its journey simply as a print-on-demand e-commerce business where we prioritized urban trendy streetwear fashion. After two drops, we decided to start making our own handmade T-shirts and Shorts in a basement using vinyl, heat presses, and packing everything ourselves. Simplistic started off slow, but once this process began, we took the city by storm. Completely selling out of our Drop 03 shirts, Simplistic began to grow its brand identity. Our quality was not only extremely good, but all of our designs had a meaningful message behind them. Now Simplistic is on Drop 06, where we have grown enough to reach out to high-quality industrial manufacturers to make us tons of clothing items, from shirts, shorts, women’s apparel, and hoodies. This year is where we shock the world.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There have been struggles. Time management, when we began hand-making our shirts, some alignment was off, or the vinyl got screwed up, as well as now, with working with manufacturers, damaged products have been sent to us.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
