Today we’d like to introduce you to Leonardo DaFinchi.
Hi Leonardo, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all started as a wee little land who stumbled across a sword in a stone and well…… yeah, I don’t have a cool origin story lol. Just an average guy who started drawing at a young age and always hoped to do that as a career. Thankfully I get to do that and wouldn’t change it for anything.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Of course, there have been struggles along the way but smooth seas never made a good sailor. I guess it’s good that I love to swim then, lol. I’ve been fired from multiple jobs, told that I could never make it, and even worrying about how to make money but I guess that helped mold me to be how I am now.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
With my brand BirdBrains, I’m known for clever mashups that aren’t just slapping two things together. My designs tell a story, complete with packaging for a perfect combo. I’m also known for wordplay, puns, and jokes with help with creative direction for my art. I am starting to bring more original work out that I have created over the years so stay tuned.
What’s next?
I can’t ruin the surprise haha but who knows what the future has in store. Let’s just say I have a huge list sitting on my computer.
