Hi Leslie, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I’ve always had a love for creating beautiful and meaningful experiences. Before I officially started my business, I was the go-to person among friends and family for weddings and events. I realized how much joy I found in bringing someone’s vision to life and managing all the little details that truly make their day special.
That passion eventually grew into The Pink Planner. I started small, taking my time to build relationships with venues and vendors. Overtime, I invested in myself and my business and began to take on larger more diverse clients.
Where I am now is the result of dedication to and love for the industry and genuine care for each couple I work with!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge or hiccup has allowed me to work harder to improve my business and continue believing and giving into the passion I have for wedding planning and coordination.
I would say the biggest struggle has been balancing the creative side with the business side. I love design, planning, and connecting with couples. However, I also had to learn about contracts, budgeting, marketing, and time management for a growing business.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
At The Pink Planner, our goal is to take you as a client from “wouldn’t it be nice if…” to “this is exactly what I envisioned” with little worry or stress as possible.
We offer full planning, partial planning, month of coordination, and even elopement packages.
In addition, we also offer wedding rentals and design, so we don’t just coordinate the day, we help shape its look, feel, details, and flow.
We are known for delivering wedding where the couples feel completely present in their celebration rather than having to micromanage or stress over the small stuff. Our team is very detail oriented and communicates on behalf of our clients to all vendors to ensure a smooth wedding day.
We believe weddings are more than just schedules and checklist, they are experiences to be crafted. From how guest feel when they arrive, to how the couple feels throughout the day, to how the vendors feel involved in the process-The Pink Planner does it all.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I have learned along my journey owning The Pink Planner is that every wedding, every couple, is different, but that’s the beauty of it!
Early on, I thought success was having the day go minute by minute as planned. However, I’ve now learned it’s learning how to adapt and pivot gracefully to still create that beautiful and rememberable experience for the clients.
