Life & Work with Lillian Charles of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lillian Charles

Hi Lillian, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I began business by helping friends and family with their wardrobes. She loved seeing how a few key pieces could shift someone’s understand of Self and spark more creativity in their daily lives. Over time, she realized style is deeply connected to personal identity and emotional wellbeing. This realization inspired her to study mindfulness, energy work, life coaching, and feminine embodiment turning what began as a passion for clothes and women into a business rooted in helping women express their truest selves.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I think the toughest part of this work has been staying in my own lane. There are a lot of fast-growth strategies out there but none of that feels truly authentic to me. Connecting with my community online, over time, has been the purest and most sincere way to grow this business. I know how my 60+ person membership to continue fostering community and that is what feels the most resonant right now.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What distinguishes me is my ability to read the energetic and emotional layers behind a client’s wardrobe. Even my introductory session is tailored to the client’s individual onboarding. I’m very quick to understand exactly what a client needs to shift and shake within her wardrobe. 99% of the time, the shift that needs to be made in the closet corresponds to her daily life experience. It is my job to address who my clients from the vantage point of who they are becoming, not just who they’ve been. Elevating each individual’s wardrobe is a way to reflect the deeper story of the woman wearing the clothes.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
The characteristics that have been essential to my success are self-awareness, creativity, and resilience. Self-awareness helps me stay aligned with my mission and values while holding space for my clients to do the same. Creativity fuels the unique ways I combine styling with inner work, allowing me to offer something truly distinct. And resilience has carried me through the ebbs and flows of entrepreneurship, helping me trust the process even when things feel uncertain.
