Hi Lolletta, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Some journeys begin with a single step. Mine began with a vision—one rooted in the belief that beauty is more than skin deep. From an early age, I understood that when people feel good in their own skin, they walk differently, they smile differently, and they carry themselves with confidence. That belief lit a fire in me, and it has guided me through every stage of my career.
That vision came to life with the opening of Milon Skincare Spa Salon in Lilburn, Georgia. More than just a skincare practice, it is a boutique sanctuary where clients can step away from the stress of everyday life and focus on themselves. Each treatment, whether a custom facial, an advanced rejuvenation therapy, anti-aging treatments, or a simple extraction to permanent makeup, every service is designed not only to deliver results but also to nurture confidence from the inside out.
Looking back, I realize that every challenge I faced was preparing me for this moment, for they gave me the resilience to sustain my big dream. The patience I gained made me more comfortable with building step by step. And passion drives me to never lose sight of the impact I want to make in my community.
Today, Milon Skincare Spa Salon is more than a business, it’s a reflection of hope, perseverance, and purpose. My journey is proof that with heart and determination, even the smallest beginnings can blossom into something beautiful. And for me, this is just the beginning. The best part of my story is still being written, one client, one transformation, and one success at a time.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road to Milon Skincare Spa Salon was not without obstacles. Starting out meant making sacrifices, working with limited resources, and wearing many hats, like full-time student with a full-time job. The COVID shut down made my dream feel like a dream. There were moments of doubt, moments where the “how” felt overwhelming. But what carried me through was the “why.” My “why” was clear: to create a safe, welcoming space where people could care for themselves, heal their skin, and leave feeling renewed.
Today, when I see a client leave with glowing skin and a brighter smile, I’m reminded that this work is so much bigger than treatments and products. It’s about helping people see themselves in a new light.

– Facial Treatments: Deep cleansing, exfoliation, hydrating masks, and targeted serums to address acne, dryness, aging and hyperpigmentation.
– Waxing: Providing smooth, long-lasting hair removal for various areas of the body.
– Skin Analysis and Consultation: Assessing skin conditions, providing personalized skincare recommendations. and educating clients on proper routines.
– Advanced Treatments: Incorporating technologies like Microdermabrasion, Plasma Rejuvenation, Chemical Peels, and LED Therapy etc… to achieve results and address specific issues.
My goal is always to provide a relaxing and effective experience, empowering clients to feel confident and radiant in their skin.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
To my children Charlene And Richard, who are always in my corner, encouraging me not to give up. My sister Norma Johnson, ever supportive in my many endeavors and of course my dear friend Carlton Cowan. A stalwart friend and helper since the inception of Milon Skincare Spa Salon!
