Hi Marcelo, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am currently working as a worship resident at 12stone Church Snellville. I got into auto detailing just to search for a side hustle that would allow me to work on my days off of the church. I would always watch videos online of how other would detail a vehicle and I found it so satisfying! When I brought the idea to my friends and family about me beginning the business, there was a lot of support. Once I began thinking about what I would need to purchase to begin, I realized that I already had most equipment necessary, so my start-up cost was around $250.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Thanks to friends and family, I’ve been able to obtain a job during this winter season! It has been difficult to obtain new clientele especially as the Christmas holidays approach. However, it’s been exciting to do my own research on how I could market my service starting of the new year!

Lakes Mobile Detailing is a family-owned business providing great car care and maintenance in interior and exterior cleaning. We are known to provide excellent car detailing as well as standard washes to your home or business. We are most proud of our ability to go above and beyond for our customers!
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
I do see this industry growing in the next years! I do see more and more professionals seeking to get the best products that will cut down time but also provide an excellent job.
