Hi Nylah, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Nylah. I began modeling at the age of 9, starting with my first casting and runway show. I still remember feeling nervous, but I loved every moment. That experience showed me that modeling isn’t just something I can do — it’s something I truly enjoy and feel passionate about. It allows me to express myself, grow in confidence, and be exactly who I am. Modeling isn’t just an activity for me anymore — it’s a part of who I am, and I’m excited to continue pursuing it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
At first, my walk wasn’t perfect. Everyone around me had more experience, and I felt like I had a lot to learn. But my mom encouraged me to keep practicing, to stay confident, and not give up. With time, dedication, and a lot of practice, I developed my own walk — one that feels natural, strong, and true to me.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
People can work with me by reaching out for castings, fittings, runway shows, or creative projects. I’m a fast learner, a self-starter, and I work well in teams. I take direction easily, but I also bring my own confidence and personality to every project. I’m always open to collaborating and growing in this industry.
