Today we’d like to introduce you to Paris Gant.
Hi Paris, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my beauty brand in 2019, selling only just eyelashes. I wanted to wear eyelashes but had no clue on how to apply them on myself so I simply learned by watching a few YouTube videos. I kept practicing and I immediately fell in love with how they looked once I mastered on how to apply them. I wasn’t into social media much and did not know how hot the beauty market was back then, so I decided that I wanted to sell eyelashes to women of teenagers to grown women. I wanted to supply different styles of lashes and different sizes to meet the needs of the ladies who wanted to enhance their facial features with affordable prices. I began to become very very consistent on social media posting 3 times a day, 5 days a week while also supporting other up-and-coming business owners like myself. I wanted to stand out with my brand so I did massive research on how to be creative with my content. I’ve formed genuine relationships with other entrepreneur women, motivate, inspiring others, giving back, etc. That is how I got to where I am today I love networking with like-minded people that have the same passions as I do.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
After my relaunch in 2020, a month after the pandemic had started, I started to see instant results and it was unbelievable and incredible! Everyone was telling me how much they loved my content and products, even one of my favorite influencers noticed me! So the remainder of that year was really smooth. Orders were rolling in like crazy, DM’s were booming. I was kind of struggling with finding my target audience then I realized that I have a mixture audience of other business owners and nonbusiness owners that all still support my brand. I finally came out of my comfort zone and started doing what I loved, selling eyelashes and lipgloss and also was showing my audience on how to apply the eyelashes, show what supplies I use, how to remove them, and why they needed them. I was making lipgloss at the beginning, I would show my audience on how I made my lipgloss and what supplies I used to make them. I also learned that likes/views/followers does not determine my brand’s success, I ignored the negativity and kept doing what I love and giving my audience what they wanted to see. My purpose was to stand out and make an impact.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in creating quality content, I am known for having bomb content my audience gave me the name “Content Queen”. I am most proud of starting my business it really has helped me with my confidence and meeting different people around the world online and being able to interact with them. What sets me apart from others is being consistent and a marketing genius. I have an Ebook titled “ You have to be willing to do what the 99% won’t do”. It talks about being consistent with posting on social media.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My husband has really been there for me a lot by helping me with inventory and giving me advice, my wonderful boss babes/audience/supporters. They show me so much love and support if it wasn’t for them idk what I would do! I do not have a team helping me I am doing everything on my own and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I want the world to know how great I am and what my brand has to offer.
