Today we’d like to introduce you to Ranjeeta Bhattacharjee.
Hi Ranjeeta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started during COVID times, when I started creating content for Tiktok; during that time there wasnt much awareness about “Influencer” thing. I loved shooting videos, and editing was my forte.
Gradually, my followers count started increasing, and that became a huge motivation for me. I hopped onto Instagram and that’s when things started going green for me. I took content creation seriously, and in a period of 3 years I started getting collaboration requests from brands.
I never labelled any work or brand as small or big, I kept on doing my job with equal sincerity.
It began as “Gifted Collabs” and then slowly went to “Affiliate Collabs” and now graduated into “Paid Collabs”. It feels amazing to see your hard work getting paid. God is kind.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road was smooth by the grace of God. I never paid for views or followers. All are genuine followers in my profile. The struggles were juggling between my “Mommy-duties”, “Office work”, and still keeping up with my Brand commitments.
Ofcourse when I see followers count decreasing, it demotivates me, but again my love for video creation is what keeps me pushing harder and forging ahead.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Well, I am an influencer. I create authentic content; share honest, engaging posts, reels, stories, represent brands ethically. I promote local Atlanta events, restaurants, products, services, adhering to brand guidelines. I am transparent, consistent, and truthful and always keep my audience entertained by creating engaging and entertaining content.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice would be to keep posting and not lose trust in your craft. Also, I would advice them to balance their choice of content; whether it is following trends or trying something new, that isn’t their niche.
