Today we’d like to introduce you to Regine Antoine.
Hi Regine , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The Girl’sGirlz Official was born out of my own journey of healing, growing, and realizing just how essential genuine sisterhood is. As a woman navigating motherhood, personal challenges, and career transitions, I knew I wasn’t alone.
Philanthropy has always been close to my heart. Being born in Haiti and seeing people in constant need, I knew from a young age that I wanted to help. That desire to serve, to give, and to uplift others stayed with me and it’s now the core of the work I do.
But what truly inspired this movement was my own circle of women. My friends who I lovingly call my girlfriends have been the backbone of my strength. Many of them are people who started out as strangers and became family. Through my hardest moments, they have shown up, supported me, and loved me through it all. That level of friendship changed my life, and it made me realize something powerful: every woman deserves to feel that.
Today, we live in a time where it’s becoming more “normal” to say you don’t have friends or that you’re fine being isolated. But I know deep down that we all need at least one genuine connection someone to laugh with, cry with, and grow with. I created The Girl’s Girlz Official to be that space. A space to remind women that it’s okay to build friendships, to trust again, and to learn how to maintain meaningful relationships.
The majority of my closest friends have been in my life for over 10 years, and it’s all rooted in one thing: reciprocation. I want to teach women that real friendship does exist, and that it can truly transform your life.
So, this isn’t just an organization it’s a movement. A tribe. A sisterhood that empowers women emotionally, spiritually, and even financially through connection, support, and community. It’s what I’ve experienced, and now, it’s what I’m creating for others to experience too.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all, it’s been far from smooth. There have been many days where I’ve felt discouraged and overwhelmed. But what keeps me going is the unwavering support from the women who believed in this vision the moment I spoke it into existence.
From the minute I shared my idea, my co-founder Jessica Holt stood ten toes down with me; physically, mentally, emotionally, and even financially. She didn’t hesitate; she just said, “Let’s go,” without needing to know all the details. The same goes for our Community Relations Director, Natacha Fortune. These women have shown up for me in ways I can never fully express, and on the hardest days, I remind myself that I can’t let them down. They believed in this when it was just a dream.
On the flip side, there have also been people I expected to support us who haven’t. And that’s part of the journey learning who truly aligns with your mission and who doesn’t. We’re doing this with no financial backing yet, just heart, grit, and community.
We’re learning as we go, figuring things out one step at a time but that’s expected. This is a journey of growth, and while it’s not easy, it’s absolutely worth it.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I currently work as a billing specialist for an insurance company, where I help manage the financial side of claims and ensure clients are accurately billed and supported through their processes. I also serve part-time as an independent insurance adjuster assistant, helping adjusters stay organized and efficient during complex claim investigations, especially in high demand periods.
Before this, I spent over a decade working for a medical record processing company, where I held a leadership role as a supervisor. That experience built the foundation of what I believe is my true specialty leading, supporting, and connecting with people.
What I’m most proud of is being a boy mom to three incredible sons. Each of them is smart, headstrong, and uniquely gifted, and they keep me grounded and motivated every single day.
What sets me apart is my heart. I’m known for my nurturing energy my friends even call me the “mother of the group.” People naturally open up to me because I genuinely listen, not just to respond, but to understand where their hurt or hope lies. I’m also a feeder at heart , if you come to my home, you will eat, laugh, and feel safe enough to rest.
Whether it’s through work or in my personal life, I lead with compassion and purpose, and that’s something I never take for granted.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
In the next 5 to 10 years, I see a major shift in both the insurance and community-building spaces. On the insurance side, I believe automation and AI will continue to reshape how claims are processed and how clients interact with adjusters and support staff. While technology will make things faster and more efficient, I think the need for a personal, human touch especially in emotionally charged situations will remain crucial. That’s where people like me, who understand empathy and connection, will still hold value.
As for the women empowerment and nonprofit community space, I believe we’ll see a surge in intentional, healing-centered platforms like The Girl’s Girlz Official. Women are craving authentic connection more than ever. We’re shifting from surface level networking to building real tribes where emotional support, healing, and financial empowerment are just as important as visibility or influence.
The biggest trend I see? Women choosing community over competition, and building circles that feed their spirit, their pockets, and their purpose. That’s exactly the kind of shift GTO was created for and we’re just getting started.
