Today we’d like to introduce you to Rich Nanni.
Hi Rich, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Although being a rapper was always a dream of mine and I have been writing music since grade school, I had never recorded a song because I was too shy when it came to sharing my craft.
In 2020, I began spending almost everyday in the studio making music with my best friend Kali and that’s how I overcame my shyness.
Following my dreams, I decided to record songs of my own and dropped my self-titled EP, which was written, composed and recorded in just two weeks. I released it on Black Friday 2021 and literally got a paid booking to perform two days later. And I knew it was up from there.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Although I’m a very outgoing person, my main struggle was overcoming my shyness. I’m only shy when it comes to sharing my craft with others.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
As an artist, it’s important to just be yourself and that’s what I’m going to continue to do. I’m authentically me!

Growing up in Atlanta, she was always into music. She grew up listening to a variety of music from rap to alternative. She was always writing, singing and dancing.
Being a rapper was always a dream of hers; however, had to overcome her shyness. In 2020 she began spending almost everyday in the studio making music with her best friend Kali and that’s how she overcame her shyness. In 2022, she presents a knockout sound of her own on a series of singles and more to come.
“I’m my own motivation,” she confesses. “I just do what I want. By living like that, I built up my confidence.”
“The EP is about Rich Nanni popping her ish,” “10’s only was the first song she ever made to record for herself, she recalls.” She is proving herself to be a very versatile artist who isn’t afraid to be creative. In the end, her confidence has the power to inspire. “I make music for everybody bruh,” she leaves off. “Like everybody can relate from your mama to your lil brother.” Stay tuned for what she has in store next.
