Hi Rio, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I am a Creator and Entrepreneur born & raised in Chicago, Illinois. Being a creator started young where I was very much in love with Art overall. Art can come in many forms like music, movies, portraits & paintings, etc. What really got my mind going while young was Music, Movies, Drawings & Cameras.
The imagination is such a powerful place to be in, it influenced me to be a creator myself. I got into writing which extended into a lot. My writing turned into poetry which eventually turned into songwriting. I started to write rhymes to create Hiphop music. Still until this day writing music has manifested into creating songs, videography & photography. Developing the love & passion for these skills has blessed me a lot with opportunities to become an entrepreneur. As a Hiphop Artist, there is an opportunity to sell my music online. As a videographer & photographer, I am able to provide services to customers like video recording/editing. Video & photography helps me go beyond the imagination to create awesome Art. The greatest thing about it all is being able to do what I love which hardly doesn’t ever feel like work at all these days. The blessing of knowing Art has allowed me to explore my life in many ways. Very grateful to be a lifelong learner which will always lead me into better growth & evolution. Having skills has allowed me to give back to the world in many ways helping people one day at a time. Knowledge will forever be king because without it, I would not be the person I am today… I have fell in love with being a creator to deeply connect with myself & the world. Discipline & a strong mindset is what got me to where I am today. Art will always be a part of me & I truly believe people today can become successful selling it like I have.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Life is unfair but it is only the strong-minded who will survive. A bad day does not mean it is a bad life. Of course, there are going to be bumps in the road for everybody including the best. Bad days has taught a lot like there are no such things as problems, there are only solutions. The way we perceive things really matters so looking at it from perspective has opened my mind up much more to pressure. Comparison is the biggest kill joy so comparing your life to someone else is a waste of energy which can be put into crafting the better life that we desire. Embracing the pain of evolving will always be better than the pain of regret and not trying, plus growing will be painful but is worth it. My soul feels enlightened knowing I haven’t given up and that I’ve taken action toward a brighter future. Having a bad circumstance is no reason to not try, taking action will give you a positive outcome.
Even if things don’t turn out to what we expect for our life, the universe always has something greater than what we expected. Things will always happen for you, things don’t happen to you. During hard times we must clap for ourselves when there is literally no one clapping for you. Believing in yourself gives us empowerment & that’s exactly what I did was empower myself through mind, body & spirit. Having a thought alone gave me visualization which I then write down as a goal, then took I take action. A great strategy like this one has helped me even on my toughest days. For all the Creators & Entrepreneurs out there, it will always pay out so don’t ever give up & always stay positive no matter the circumstances…
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
So I am a full-time Artist all around where creation stems from many things as I mentioned. Songwriting has been my go-to, really in love with writing rhymes. Hiphop Music has been a great way to being able to express freely. In love with also videography, photography & drawing. Anything that has to do with Art has always been a great experience, it just sticks to my soul naturally. At the moment currently, I am an Indie Hiphop Artist with Cosmik Records distributing my music on all major streaming platforms. Also, I like serving others and giving back to the world, I can provide video editing services & photo editing services from just loving Art all around. During middle school is when I developed skills for video recording & visual arts. Even when I’m cooking which is another skillful set to have has given me more opportunities to serve others & inspire.
There are times people pay me to cook for them which I’m grateful for. Learning period is like exercise for my brain so I do take pride in it. There are no limitations to what I can accomplish since it is all possible as long as I work for it. The money will always be there for me as long as I’m doing what I love on a daily. The more knowledge a person has will always be paid for it so I encourage the world to read books always. I don’t ever feel that I am limited to anything when I believe that I can learn what I set my mind to. For the best of all & harm to none, really loving myself has helped me move with healthy intentions. Being inspired by Art overall helped me grow into the person that I am today. It necessarily doesn’t mean that ill ever quit learning many skill sets. It just means that ill always be a lifelong learner mastering myself inspired by Art.

Currently at the moment, I am working on a lot of music, food opportunities & keeping my family healthy. The goal is to always keep my family healthy including myself. Health is wealth so it’s a blessing to have everyone I truly love all around me. Cooking has got me excited because it helps me connect with others in a very authentic way. I am currently working on new recipes which may help me build up my network even more. I like cooking fresh food for people, it’s my way of showing my love & respect. My network will always be my net worth so I’m very grateful to have it all working out for me. Very blessed to have good food & happy people in the same room always striving to succeed and conquering through unlimited business models.
