Life & Work with Sarah Edelman and Devon Bullock

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Edelman and Devon Bullock.

Hi Sarah and Devon, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Devon and I started our business over five years ago. We both had a knack for organizing and designing and found Neat Method which combined both of our passions. When we started, it was just the two of us organizing client spaces. Through lots of hard work, we have grown the team to eight organizers and have organized each and every type of space!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Some challenges that we have faced are rapid growth and an increasing competitive workplace. Another challenge is finding the right person to fit our specific skill set and continue to help us grow.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
NEAT Method is a lifestyle service committed to providing a more luxurious and smartly appointed living space. We recognize that life gets hectic and that maintaining an organized home can become a challenge. NEAT Method will design a customized solution that is not only effective but sustainable. Expect an honest approach, a sharp eye for detail, and a personal sense of refined style. We believe that once your life is clutter free and well-arranged, you will have a new appreciation for the importance of living NEAT.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
We learned patience with different unique circumstances with a business that offers primarily in-person services. We learned how to adapt our business to the needs of the marketplace during the Covid-19 crisis. We started offering virtual services and creating custom labels for clients to implement in their own homes.
