Today we’d like to introduce you to Taylor Rene.
Hi Taylor, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Growing up I was always artistic . I love to paint and draw. During the beginning of 2020, I had a random desire to turn my artistic abilities into something that generated money. I thought to myself “what’s closest to painting thats in the cosmetology field?” and I came up with nails. I did my research, bought supplies from amazon and took off from there. I went to cosmetology school and graduated from Shearz Institute a few years later, then passed my PSI state board test shortly after. Now I’m coming up on my 6 year nail anniversary and have built meaningful connections with clients, visibly see my growth and plan to service more women from all walks of life.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a little difficult . I struggled with consistency, motivation and comparison. I even took a few months off from doing nails completely which was kind of hard to come back from. I found it difficult seeing fellow nail technicians around me who were much further in the process than I was.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a licensed nail technician specializing in acrylic nail and polygon pedicure services. I am most proud of my transformative abilities where I am very good at educating my clients and taking their nail health to another level. What sets me apart is not only my skill in executing trendy nails set, but my ability to inform my clients on their nail and foot health and push them to take care of it.

Luck played no role. It was God. From the beginning and to the end. I owe it all to Him.
